Jobs 4 All is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor in Sandton, Gauteng. The role supports cost management, commercial administration, estimating, procurement, valuations and cost reporting across building projects.

Ideal for a detail-oriented graduate with a drive to grow within quantity surveying. Responsibilities include preparing estimates, taking off quantities from drawings, obtaining quotations, and assisting with payment claims and cost reports.

Qualifications

BTech or BSc in Quantity Surveying is mandatory.
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications are essential.
Understanding of measurement, bills of quantities, estimating and construction costs.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing estimates, budgets and bills of quantities.
Take off quantities from drawings and verify measurements on site.
Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Support procurement and subcontractor appointment processes.
Assist with preparing payment claims and assessing subcontractor payment applications.
Record and measure variations and assist with pricing.
Assist with monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts and final accounts.
Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
Attend site inspections and progress meetings as required.
