Job summary

RPO Recruitment’s client, a dynamic property development company based in Cape Town, is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their growing team. You will assist in delivering large-scale residential developments from planning through to handover, working closely with consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

The role offers exposure to multiple project phases, a supportive environment, and opportunities to contribute to project governance, documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and delivery stages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing large-scale residential housing developments from planning through to project completion.
• Support coordination of all project phases ensuring alignment with scope, programme and budget.
• Monitor progress and drive timely delivery of milestones.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Identify and escalate project challenges to minimise delays and disruptions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting and admin tracking.
• Support project governance and compliance requirements.
