Job summary

SGS Bateman invites a skilled Draughtsperson to join its multidisciplinary engineering team. You will produce accurate design drawings and 3D models to support project execution, adhering to standards and procedures, while liaising with contractors to maintain SGS’s professional image.

The role requires at least 2 years in discipline drawing and proficiency with AutoCAD, with site visits as needed to ensure deliverables meet project requirements. Based in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Multiple discipline drawing office practice certificate or equivalent.
• Relevant drafting experience in mineral processing or petrochemical plant projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate design drawings for project execution.
• Generate design drawings, documents and detailed 3D models with rectification/back drafting after checking.
• Adhere to company standards and procedures.
• Promote the company's image through effective communication and liaison with contractors and vendors.
• Maintain personal administration and assist with site visits as required.
• Provide feedback to draughtsperson for changes.
