Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Project Manager to join a growing software development team in Stellenbosch. You will support senior project managers in planning, executing, and delivering software projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Business or related field.
• 1–3 years in a project coordination or junior project management role in software.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficient with Jira or Trello.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior PMs in developing project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate activities, schedule meetings, track progress, and manage documentation.
• Facilitate cross-team communication between developers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate project risks and issues.
• Support Agile practices and maintain project artifacts.
• Contribute to status reports and stakeholder presentations.
