Job summary

Mecad Systems in Durban is seeking a Mechanical Draughtsperson to prepare and modify 2D/3D drawings, assist with piping and valve design, and interpret technical specifications. You will prepare manufacturing drawings, revise existing drawings, and maintain accurate technical documentation while collaborating with engineers and senior staff.

Qualifications

• National Diploma, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Draughting or a related field.
• 1–2 years' experience in mechanical draughting or design.
• Experience with SolidWorks
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good computer literacy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
