Job summary

A professional growth company in South Africa is looking for eager and motivated Junior Merchandisers for their internship program. This role offers a dynamic 12 to 18-month internship designed to equip youth with essential skills and hands-on experience in merchandising. Responsibilities include determining stock to be merchandised and providing feedback on customer queries. Ideal candidates are aged 18–28 and hold an NCV Level 4 or N6 TVET Certificate, but no work experience is necessary. A stipend of R3,500 per month will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Determine stock to be merchandised
  • Draw stock requirements
  • Check vintage, product quality on the shelf, stock rotation, and price tags
  • Execute merchandising activities as per cycle brief
  • Provide feedback on customer complaints, queries, and requests
  • Communicate and maintain knowledge of products and promotions
  • Accurately record merchandising activities
  • Execute calls as per call cycle
What We’re Looking For
  • Aged 18–28 years
  • NCV Level 4 or N6 TVET Certificate

Duration
  • N6 TVET Internship: 18 months
  • NCV Level 4 Internship: 12 months
Stipend
  • R3,500 per month
