Job summary

Managed People Solutions in Vredenburg, Western Cape, is offering a Junior Merchandiser Intern position in the liquor and retail sector. You will help create eye-catching product displays, ensure correct stock is available in-store, and support in-store promotions in a fast-paced environment.

The stipend is R3500 per month, with TVET N6 or NCV Level 4 internship durations (18 months or 12 months). The role requires being under 28, currently unemployed, and holding NCV Level 4 or N6 certificates

Qualifications

• Must be under 28 years old.
• Currently unemployed and have not participated in a similar internship before.
• Completed NCV Level 4 in Administration, Finance, Transport & Logistics, Management, Marketing, or IT.
• Holds an N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Determine stock that needs to be merchandised.
• Ensure the correct stock is available in-store.
• Check product quality, rotation, and pricing.
• Set up products according to company merchandising standards.
• Report customer issues and requests.
• Maintain accurate merchandising records.
• Monitor and report out-of-stock items to management.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
• Execute store calls according to the call cycle.
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on out-of-stock products.
