Job summary

Kontak Recruitment in Cape Town is looking for a Junior Media Buyer to manage and optimise Meta, Google and TikTok campaigns for established international DTC e-commerce pet food brands. The role offers a permanent position with a monthly package of R25 000–R30 000 CTC and the chance to grow in paid media analytics.

You will develop skills in creative testing, funnel optimisation, performance analysis and AI‑driven marketing, working closely with the Performance Marketing Manager and wider team

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years’ paid media, media buying or performance marketing within DTC or e-commerce brands where revenue growth depended on analytical decisions.
• Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads.
• Experience with A/B testing and performance optimisation.
• Some experience using AI tools
• Strong understanding of performance metrics including ROAS, CAC and LTV
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working with advertising platform interfaces
• Able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines consistently
• Able to work collaboratively with the Performance Marketing Manager and wider team
• Willing to learn and apply new AI tools within daily performance marketing activities
• Available to work UK-aligned working hours.
