Lexdan Select is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to design, develop and optimize mechatronic systems for water treatment equipment. You will work with pumps, valves, sensors, control panels and automation, applying Siemens PLCs and HMIs to enhance performance and safety.

Responsibilities include testing, commissioning, on-site troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with manufacturing and service teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years experience in mechatronic systems, automation, or industrial equipment; water treatment experience advantageous.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor).

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and optimize mechatronic systems for water filtration and treatment equipment, including pumps, valves, sensors, control panels, and automation systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation and control solutions using Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and VSDs to improve performance, reliability, and safety.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of filtration systems both in-house and on-site.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements for all designs and installations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, performance optimization, and design standardization.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, test reports, and operation manuals.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, installation, service, and online monitoring teams, including plant performance reporting.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and progress reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Engineering discipline.
• 2+ years experience in mechatronic systems, automation, or industrial equipment; water treatment experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
• Experience with Siemens PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial communication protocols.
• Strong understanding of sensors, actuators, motors, pumps, and variable speed drives (VSDs).
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, environmental regulations, and engineering standards.
