Job summary

Efficiency Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd seeks a dynamic Content Creator in Johannesburg to develop engaging social media content and manage channels across platforms. You will shoot, edit, and design using CapCut and Canva, ensuring on-brand visuals and compelling captions.

You’ll collaborate with suppliers and support basic Meta Ads campaigns. A 1–2 year background in marketing and strong communication are essential, with hybrid office involvement.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Johannesburg and able to commute to the office 3 days per week.
• 1–2 years’ experience in junior marketing, content creation, social media, or digital marketing role preferred.
• Strong portfolio or examples of Reels, TikToks, Canva designs, CapCut edits, or other visual content created/edited.
• Highly proficient in Canva and CapCut.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite is essential.
• Foundational knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and the ability to assist with basic campaigns.
• Strong understanding of current social media trends, viral audio, algorithms, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clearly brief and communicate with external vendors and suppliers.
• Access to a smartphone with an excellent camera for content capturing will be highly advantageous.
• Must be a self-starter who takes initiative, manages time well in a hybrid setup, and has a genuine passion for marketing.
• Knowledge of the motor industry will be highly advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

• Plan, shoot, and create engaging social media content, with a strong focus on Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
• Edit video content using CapCut or similar mobile / desktop editing tools, ensuring fast-paced, on-trend transitions, audio syncing, and captions.
• Design high-quality static graphics, carousels, and stories using Canva, while adhering to brand guidelines.
• Perform basic photo editing to ensure all imagery is clean, sharp, and professional.

Social Media Management & Publishing

• Schedule and publish daily content across major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and similar platforms.
• Write engaging, platform-appropriate captions and conduct keyword / hashtag research.
• Monitor social media channels daily and engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in the brand’s voice.

Paid Media & Meta Ads

• Assist with setting up, monitoring, and optimising basic Meta Ads campaigns for Facebook and Instagram.
• Understand target audiences, boost top-performing organic posts, and report on basic ad performance, including CTR, reach, and engagement.

Supplier & Media Coordination

• Liaise with external suppliers, including printers, signage partners, design agencies, media outlets, and promotional vendors.
• Package and send final creative briefs, print-ready artwork, copy, and specifications to suppliers according to media deadlines.
• Ensure files meet vendor specifications, including correct dimensions, resolutions, bleeds, file formats, and brand approvals.
• Monitor production timelines and proofs from suppliers to ensure on-time delivery for launches and campaigns.
