Company: The Social Construct
Personality first. Skills second.
Are you someone who puts people at ease, gets a conversation going, and builds relationships naturally?
Some people just have it. Clients remember their name. Colleagues want them on the call. They're warm, switched-on, curious — and other people simply enjoy working with them.
That's who we're hiring first. The marketing skills, we'll help you build on the foundation you've already started.
The Social Construct is a fast-growing marketing agency in Century City, Cape Town, working primarily with clients in the UK construction and B2B space. We deliver social media management, founder personal branding, and video-led content — and we're looking for a Junior Account Manager who will grow into owning client relationships themselves.
Here's the honest deal: we're hiring personality first, marketing skills second. You do need to have started your marketing journey in some form — freelancing, side projects, internships, or studying marketing, communications, or media. But unlike most marketing jobs, we're not hiring your CV. If you're hungry, ambitious, and people gravitate towards you — but you're still early in your marketing career — this role was built for you.
This is a junior role with a client-facing direction — not a position where you're expected to run everything alone from day one.
You don't need years in an agency — but you do need to have started your marketing career in some form. Any of these count:
We care far less about where you've worked than whether you're the kind of person clients and colleagues love working with. Personality first. Marketing skills second. But yes — you need to have started.
