Job summary

Aspiring Junior IT Installer role based in Bloemfontein, Free State. You will perform hands-on installation, maintenance and support of IT network infrastructure, cabling, and hardware in a dynamic industrial environment.

The position requires 3 years IT experience, Grade 12 (NQF4) and a valid SA driver's license. You must be comfortable with after-hours support and working on-site in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-style qualifications not required; relevant hands-on IT installation experience is essential.
• Minimum 3 years in an IT environment with hands-on exposure to hardware, cabling, CCTV and fibre installations.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test CAT6 and fibre cabling.
• Mount and connect IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points, switches and network cabinets.
• Route, label, and secure cables per industry standards and site requirements.
• Terminate cabling in patch panels, cabinets and equipment rooms.
• Diagnose and repair faults across cabling, devices and configurations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and stock levels.
