Job summary

Sable International invites applications for a Junior Exchange Control position in our Cape Town office. You will handle Exchange Control applications, gather and verify supporting documents, and liaise with banks and clients to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will work with the Forex SA team, supporting onboarding, due diligence and case management to meet deadlines while delivering professional client service. Strong Excel and CRM exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to engage with international clients and banks.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Exchange Control applications and enquiries.
• Gather, review and validate supporting docs for SARB, SARS, banks.
• Submit Exchange Control transactions through banking channels.
• Maintain BoP reporting data for applicable transactions.
• Onboard new clients including FICA verification and due diligence.
• Monitor cases and secure all approvals within deadlines.
• Liaise with banks, relationship managers and stakeholders.
• Assist with offshore investment-related Exchange Control transactions.
• Communicate with clients regarding requirements and progress.
• Maintain client records and audit trails per compliance.
