Job summary

Publicis Groupe Africa’s Studio One Toyota is seeking a Junior In-House Designer to collaborate with Toyota South Africa on high‑quality graphic design delivered in‑house at Toyota’s Head Office.

You’ll work directly with the client team, manage multiple projects, and receive mentorship to grow your portfolio and advance your career. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, PowerPoint and AI image/text tools is preferred; photography experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must show minimum of 4 examples of design work.
• Understanding of multiple design programmes and tools.

About us:

Studio One Toyota, which forms part of Publicis South Africa, is a bespoke agency tailored to Toyota South Africa. We handle all of Toyota’s advertising including: above-the-line, below-the-line, strategy, digital, social media, media placement, and community management. We are a tight-knit team of award-winning creatives passionate about the automotive industry and breakthrough work.

We work in-office 5 days a week from our studio in Bryanston. We are a people-first agency, with a keen interest in AI and other new technologies. Our goal is to create locally relevant work stemming from culturally authentic South African insights.

Overview

As a Junior In-House Designer you will work with our passionate, multi-talented team to deliver on exceptional design work for Toyota South Africa.

This is an in-house design opportunity where you will be working directly with the client team, at Toyota’s Head office, to deliver high quality graphic design. The role is client-facing where you will be working independently onsite with client stakeholders. What’s more, you will receive mentorship and support from Studio One Toyota in growing your portfolio and furthering your career.

The successful candidate will be tuned into all aspects of South African motoring culture and the platforms and media it plays in, as well as have a strong point of view on what it takes to win in this space through impactful design.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

OPERATIONAL KPI’S

• Ability of design work (Show minimum of 4 examples)
