Job summary

Concor Construction (Pty) Ltd is seeking a site supervisor for the C3 project in Cape Town. The role involves leading a team, ensuring costs are kept in check, and delivering work on time while meeting contract quality requirements.

The incumbent will read drawings, take precise measurements, and ensure adherence to Safety, Health and Environmental Regulations, company policies, and QA standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of site supervisory experience in the building industry.
• Ability to interpret drawings and ensure contract quality requirements.
• Strong focus on safety, QA standards and accurate measurements.

Introduction

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the activities of a team of workers performing routine tasks on project. Assist with preplanning to ensure correct quantities of material and equipment are available and ensure equitable work distribution an even flow of work.Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates. This position is available for the C3 project in Cape Town and will be on a Limited Duration Contract ("LDC") basis for the duration of the project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Successfully manage section of work within cost allowable
• Ensure that work is consistently completed within given time frame
• Ensure that quality of work is always complied with the contract requirements
• Ensure that information is consistently extracted correctly from drawings
• Ensure that measurements are done accurately without exception
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality assurance standards at all times
• Providing constructive support to company initiatives
• Ensuring that quality of work and materials comply with specifications
• Consistently comply with all company policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental Regulations
