Job summary

CVQuest seeks a Junior Engineer in the Western Cape for our Blackheath (Cape Town) client. Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering is required; minimum two years’ technical/manufacturing experience and strong report writing are essential.

The role includes after-sales support, documenting technical information, and database maintenance. Travel for training, strong English communication, numerical and analytical skills, and a quality-focused mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Strong planning, organisational and reporting skills.
• Excellent English communication, written and oral.

Our Blackheath (Cape Town) based client is looking for a Junior Engineer with a Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering qualification to join their team.

Only candidates already in the Western Cape will be considered.

Requirements:

• Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering qualification
• Min. 2 years’ experience in a Technical / Manufacturing environment
• Planning, organising and technical report writing skills
• Excellent English communication skills - both written and oral
• Good numerical skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creative approach when it comes to new ideas

• Good attendance record and sound references
• Valid driver’s license and passport

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
