Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company, a fast-growing renewable energy developer and EPC, is delivering commercial and industrial solar PV and battery energy storage projects across South Africa. A Junior Electrical Engineer is sought to join the Cape Town team and help design and deliver innovative energy solutions.

The role focuses on electrical system design, project lifecycle support, and collaboration with project teams to ensure compliant and timely delivery within industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards.
• Renewable energy experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of SANS 10142-1 and NRS 097 beneficia.

Responsibilities

• Electrical system design and implementation.
• Supporting solar PV and BESS projects through the full lifecycle.
• Technical evaluations and feasibility studies.
• Troubleshooting and technical support.
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure successful deliveryEnsuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
