Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney or Candidate Attorney eligible for admission in the High Court of South Africa.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with excellent academic results.
• 0–3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law.
• Strong understanding of basic corporate law principles and contract law.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and standard office applications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude, eager to learn, and able to work under supervision in Bloemfontein.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
• Conduct legal research on specified issues as directed by senior legal counsel.
• Support corporate secretarial functions, including board meeting prep and minute-taking.
• Maintain company records and ensure statutory compliance.
• Assist in managing litigation files and liaising with external counsel.
• Provide support on employment law matters and internal investigations.
