Qualifications

• Qualified attorney admitted to the High Court of South Africa
• LLB degree with strong academics
• 1–3 years PQE in corporate/commercial law preferred
• Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills
• Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be a team player
• Detail oriented and well organized

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements including sale of shares, shareholders and JV agreements
• Conduct due diligence and research on corporate transactions
• Prepare resolutions, proxies and board minutes
• Assist with company formations, registrations and compliance filings
• Support senior lawyers and manage client relationships and project execution
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and regulators
• Identify legal risks and provide practical advice
• Contribute to knowledge base with new legal developments
• Assist in transactional closing processes
• Adhere to firm standards and ethical guidelines
