Qualifications

Admitted Attorney of the High Court with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law.
Foundational understanding of South African corporate law and company secretarial duties.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

Assist senior attorneys in drafting and reviewing corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements and service contracts.
Conduct legal research on corporate law matters and prepare memoranda for senior staff.
Support the formation and registration of new companies and business entities.
Participate in due diligence exercises for corporate transactions.
Manage corporate record-keeping and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Provide general corporate legal support to clients as directed by supervising attorneys.
