Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements (sale of shares, MOIs, service contracts).
• Conduct legal research on corporate and commercial issues.
• Perform due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

About the Role

Our client, a highly respected law firm with a strong presence in Klerksdorp , North West, is actively seeking an ambitious and diligent Junior Corporate Associate to join their bustling corporate and commercial department. The successful candidate will assist senior lawyers in advising a diverse range of businesses on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general commercial matters. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of corporate agreements, including Sale of Shares Agreements, MOIs, and service contracts.

• Support senior lawyers in advising clients on corporate governance best practices and compliance.
• Assist with the incorporation and registration of companies.
• Prepare legal opinions and memorandums.
• Manage client communications and follow‑up actions under supervision.
• Organize and maintain client files and transaction documentation.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to discussions as appropriate.

Requirements
