Placements24 is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Upington, Northern Cape. You will assist senior engineers in designing water supply and sanitation projects, perform CAD drawings, and help supervise construction on-site with guidance from experienced staff.

You will gain hands-on experience through data collection, site visits, hydraulic modeling, and documentation. ECSA Candidate Engineer pathway is supported as you grow professionally.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• ECSA Candidate Engineer track encouraged.
• 0-3 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus.
• Basic hydraulics and water/wastewater principles.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior engineers in designing water supply, distribution, and wastewater facilities.
• Prepare drawings and calculations using AutoCAD and related software.
• Conduct site visits to collect data and monitor progress.
• Perform hydraulic modeling for water and sewer networks.
• Support tender docs and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with specs, safety regs, and SANS.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain records.
