Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 0–3 years of relevant industry experience (internships or co-op placements are valuable).
• Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles, including fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mass transfer.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Must be a South African citizen or possess the necessary work permits.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior engineers in monitoring and analyzing chemical process performance.
• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Support the implementation of process improvements and optimization projects.
• Prepare reports on process data, test results, and operational observations.
• Participate in plant inspections and assist in troubleshooting operational issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in all assigned tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, analyses, and process parameters.
• Assist in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with plant operators and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Gain practical experience in various chemical engineering disciplines relevant to mining operations.
