Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a junior Business Analyst to join their Johannesburg team. The role offers hands-on exposure to business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder collaboration in a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will work with senior analysts, learn BA methodologies, and contribute to project delivery while developing skills across process mapping, UAT, and data analysis in a dynamic CBD setting.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Support creation of process flows and use-case scenarios.
• Participate in testing and validation of solutions against requirements.
• Contribute to analysis of current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and accuracy.
• Support preliminary data analysis to aid decision-making.
• Assist in UAT and gather feedback.
• Learn and apply BA methodologies and tools.
