Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant accounting, bookkeeping or finance qualification.

• Sage One Online Accounting experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a junior finance professional who wants to grow within an accounting team but is equally comfortable doing the fundamental bookkeeping work required now.

The company is specifically looking for someone who can become productive quickly. Training can be provided where necessary, particularly around internal processes, but the successful candidate must have sufficient accounting knowledge and practical ability to work independently without requiring continuous supervision.

Candidates who are already significantly senior or who have moved beyond hands‑on bookkeeping and transaction processing may not be suited to the position.

Systems

Sage One Online Accounting is the primary accounting system used within the business.

Candidates with existing Sage experience will therefore have a significant advantage.

Remuneration

Approximately R18,000 – R23,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
