Junior Bookkeeper

Midvaal Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Bookkeeper for a well-established company based in Selby.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Non-Negotiable)
• Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting, or currently studying towards a relevant qualification
• 2–3 years' experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience working with financial reporting tools
• Financial package knowledge preferred
• SAP Business One experience will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
• Process daily banking transactions and payments

• Assist with VAT-related duties
• Assist with fixed asset administration
