Job summary

Accountancy Placements Pietermaritzburg seeks a legally skilled professional to manage debt recovery and civil litigation tasks. You will draft summonses, applications, affidavits, and other documents, and monitor litigation using CaseLines and Court Online.

You will liaise with courts, sheriffs, correspondent attorneys and liquidators, prepare briefs to counsel, and appear in court when required. Post-judgment processes and legal opinions on credit law will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Completed articles and awaiting admission or recently admitted as an attorney.
• Experience in debt recovery, civil litigation or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of CaseLines, Court Online and legal processes.
