Job summary

A boutique law firm in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng is seeking a motivated Candidate Attorney with a genuine interest in Family Law, Civil Litigation and Debt Collection. The role offers real court exposure and responsibility in Magistrate’s Court matters.

The candidate will be involved in drafting and reviewing legal documents, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and managing matters from inception to resolution while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Completed LLB degree is required.
• Currently a Candidate Attorney.
• Experience with Magistrate’s Court appearances is preferred.
• Strong interest in Family Law, Civil Litigation and Debt Collection.
• Willing to cede articles and gain court exposure.
• Must have driver’s licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Take a hands-on, leadership-oriented role in Magistrate’s Court matters.
• Handle Family Law, Civil Litigation and Debt Collection matters.
• Prepare for and attend Magistrate’s Court appearances.

A boutique law firm based in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng is looking for a motivated and capable Candidate Attorney who has a genuine interest in Family Law, Civil Litigation and Debt Collection and is looking to cede articles. This is an opportunity for a Candidate Attorney who wants real court exposure, responsibility and the opportunity to play an active role in Magistrate’s Court matters.

What you'll be doing

The successful candidate will take a hands-on and leadership-oriented role in Magistrate’s Court matters, including:

• Family Law matters


• Civil Litigation


• Debt Collection


• Magistrate’s Court appearances and related preparation


• Assisting with the management of matters from inception through to resolution


• Drafting and reviewing legal documentation


• Liaising with clients, opposing attorneys and relevant stakeholders


• Taking ownership of matters and ensuring deadlines are met

Magistrate’s Court experience and the ability to take leadership of these matters is a crucial requirement for this position.
