Placements24 is seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist to join our Soweto team. You will assist senior technologists in producing detailed drawings and construction documents, with a focus on Revit.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and mentorship in a supportive environment. Ideal candidates have a National Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, basic design knowledge, strong attention to detail, and good teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: National Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of architectural design and construction principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections) using BIM software.
• Support development of technical specifications and project documentation.
• Coordinate with senior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in site visits to document existing conditions.
• Help manage project files and drawings, ensuring updates and organization.
• Learn and apply best practices in architectural technology and construction detailing.
