Job summary

Ann Swann Personnel Services is recruiting a Junior Air Conditioning Technician for an office-based role near Springs, East Rand. The candidate will diagnose, repair, install and service air conditioning units and ducting at various client sites.

The role requires a minimum of four years’ practical experience with different air conditioning systems, good communication, and a strong work ethic. Travel across the East Rand is expected as needed.

Our client is seeking a Junior Air Conditioning Technician with a minimum of 4 years’ practical experience in the repair, maintenance and installation of various types of air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate must have experience working with air conditioning units, ducting and air diffusion equipment.
The position is office-based near Springs, with work carried out at various sites throughout the East Rand area.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair various types of air conditioning units and systems.
• Assist with and carry out the installation of different types of air conditioning units.
• Install, maintain and repair air conditioning ducting systems.
• Work with air diffusion equipment and related components.

• Identify faults and assist with troubleshooting technical issues.
• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
• Travel to various client sites throughout the East Rand area as required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ practical experience in air conditioning repairs and installations.
• Experience working with various types of air conditioning units and systems.
• Practical knowledge of ducting installation and air diffusion equipment.
• Basic fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
