MyCareerCraft is seeking a motivated Junior Accounts Administrator in South Africa to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks and financial reporting. You will help with month-end processes, reconciliations, and processing invoices, while ensuring tax compliance and assisting with audits.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with internship or junior accounting exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (essential).
• Prior internship or junior accounting experience (desirable).
• Understanding of South African tax legislation and accounting standards is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in drafting monthly management reports and IFRS-aligned financials.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing.
• Reconcile key general ledger accounts, banks, and supplier balances.
• Capture supplier invoices, match to POs, and process EFT payments.
• Follow up on customer payments and allocate receipts.
• Compile audit files and provide supporting documents for auditors.
• Assist with VAT calculations and EMP201 submissions.
• Support rollout and testing of new accounting software.
• Report to Financial Manager and collaborate with other departments.
• Maintain high accuracy, time management, and problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in a small finance team.
