Stratlab Consulting (Pty) Ltd in Pretoria East is seeking a Junior Accountant to join a small, hands-on firm, working closely with the owner. This role is ideal for someone with 1 to 2+ years of accounting experience who understands end-to-end processes and wants to grow in a supportive environment.

This permanent position starts January 2027, requires 5 days in office and a 3-month probation. Mentorship from the owner will be provided, with opportunities to broaden accounting exposure across a

• Diploma or undergraduate qualification in Accounting or related field.
• 1 to 2+ years accounting experience.
• Solid AP & AR experience.
• Understanding of end-to-end accounting processes.
• Experience with eFiling and CIPC.
• Exposure to QuickBooks, Pastel and/or Pastel Payroll.
• Good understanding of where to start when working with an audit.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working closely with an owner and taking ownership of tasks.
• Ability to think, problem-solve and understand why they are doing something not just process transactions.

Were looking for a Junior Accountant to join a small, hands-on accounting firm in Pretoria East, working closely with the owner.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 1 to 2+ years of accounting experience who understands the basics of end-to-end accounting and is ready to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
