• Strong accounting fundamentals desirable.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a senior team member.
• Strong communication skills.
• Professional and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting functions.
• Prepare and process accounting entries and journals.
• Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare supporting schedules for month-end and year-end reporting.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audit and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Provide general accounting and financial support to the Senior Accountant.
