Job summary

Do More Placements in Cape Town’s Tygerberg/Parow area seeks a Junior Accountant (SAIPA or CIMA trainee) to join its in-house finance team. This role moves beyond data entry, exposing you to the mechanics of asset finance, including accounting, banking, and loan transactions.

You’ll gain experience across month-end, reconciliations, debtors, creditors, VAT and management accounts, with Sage or a comparable package.

Qualifications

• Completing SAIPA or CIMA training in 2026 or recently completed
• Relevant BCom degree in accounting or finance
• Approximately three years of practical accounting experience
• Hands-on exposure to bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, journals, VAT, GL and month-end
• Experience with Sage or a comparable accounting package

• Month-end accounting and reconciliations

• Debtors, creditors and general ledger accounting
• Banking, payments and debit-order processes
• Loan and asset finance transactions
