Job summary

enablesa is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Perseverance, Port Elizabeth team. You will handle month-end journals, assist with management accounts, and investigate variances in P&L.

The role includes reconciling balance sheet accounts, budgeting participation, year-end lead schedules, and inter-company invoicing. Excel proficiency and SAP knowledge are advantageous as you support the finance function and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• BCom Accounting or relevant qualification.
• SAP experience or knowledge would be advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Highly computer literate (Excel).
• Able to work flexible working hours (overtime when/if needed).
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Preparing lead schedules at financial year end
• Preparing daily banking and sales reports
• First release of payments
• Processing inter-company invoices and performing inter-company reconciliations
• Processing sundry invoices as and when required including sundry credits
• Maintaining effective financial controls and reporting structures
• Contributing to the daily functioning of the finance team and its performance
• Assisting with ad hoc assignments
