Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to handle AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations and month-end close across multiple entities within a fast-paced group.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in accounting/finance, with SAIPA articles advantageous and experience in Xero or ERP systems. Strong Excel and organizational skills are essential to manage priorities and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance required or equivalent.
• SAIPA articles would be highly advantageous.
• Experience in accounting, in firm or industry.
• Experience with multiple entities is helpful.
• Experience using Xero and/or ERP accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Able to work independently with competing priorities.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.

• Assisting with multiple entities within the group
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting processes
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies and accounting issues
• General financial administration and reporting

• Relevant accounting experience, either in an accounting firm or industry environment
• Experience working with multiple entities is advantageous
• Experience using Xero and/or Accounting ERP systems
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong administrative and organisational skills

Solid Microsoft Excel skills, including:

• Lookups
• Pivot tables
• Formula creation and maintenance
• Experience with reconciliations and transactional processing
• Payroll experience would be an added advantage
