Job summary

Cubix in Durban, South Africa is offering an internship as Junior Data Analyst / Data Analytics Intern. You will develop insights using Power BI and SQL, and support automation with SSIS.

Work with senior BI staff on reporting projects, maintain data integrity, and help translate data into actionable business decisions. Ideal candidates hold Grade 12 and a relevant diploma/degree in IT/CS/Data Analytics, and are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• South African citizen is required.
• Must have National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Diploma or Degree in IT/CS/Data Analytics/BI or related field, with knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

Purpose of the Job: Developing, analysing, and presenting business insights, utilizing Power BI and other reporting tools, as well as automation tools to provided leads utilizing SSIS. Work closely with senior team members to gain exposure to complex BI projects while contributing to impactful business decisions.

Qualifications

• Must be a South African Citizen.
• Must have a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Completed Relevant Diploma or Degree – Required or Preferred, such as:
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related field, with knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, data analysis, and reporting.
