Takealot Group, South Africa’s leading online Retail / Fashion / Delivery organisation, is looking for a highly talented Industrial Engineering Graduate to join our team in Cape Town. The Graduate Programme will be split between all businesses within the Group, namely: takealot.com, TFS and Mr D.

The programme offers a structured rotation across Takealot Group businesses, delivering practical experience in analytics, WMS, CAD design, procurement, and layout optimisation while developing core

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (BEng) or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop operational dashboards using data visualisation tools and perform statistical analysis on warehouse performance metrics.
• Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights and recommendations throughout the rotation.
• Assist in WMS maintenance activities, support user management and system access controls, contribute to report building and system testing protocols, and participate in system process design improvements.
• Support equipment and infrastructure procurement processes, assist in creating CAD drawings and technical designs, coordinate with external contractors, and contribute to project management activities including procurement documentation and payment processing.
• Apply engineering principles to facility layout optimisation and equipment selection.
