Job summary

Gijima is recruiting 4 x Data Analyst interns for a 12-month internship, in Midrand. The role focuses on developing strong analytical skills using advanced Excel and reporting. You will work within a team to deliver accurate data insights during the 12-month program.

Applicants must have completed a 3-year IT qualification, be unemployed, not studying elsewhere, and under 35 as of 1 April 2026. Relocation is not offered; Gauteng-based candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 3-year IT qualification (ND/ diploma/ degree).
• Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• No criminal record.
• Currently unemployed.
• Not participating in another learnership or internship.
• Not studying at another institution.
• Must live in the greater Midrand area; relocation not offered.
• Under age 35 as of 1 April 2026.
• South African citizen (all races).

Qualifications

• Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification (National diploma, degree, diploma) in IT (Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science)
• Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Candidates must have NO criminal record
• Candidates must currently be unemployed
• Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program
• Candidates must not be studying at any other institution (including distance learning)
• Candidates must live in the greater Midrand area (relocation is NOT an option)
• Candidates must be under the age of 35 as of 1 April 2026
