Job summary

Circana SA is seeking an Item Coding Analyst to code CPG items, maintain Fusion and IRIS, and ensure data quality from its Cape Town offices. The role involves audits, corrections, and engagement with the team leader and stakeholders to drive accurate datasets.

The position is a temporary contract through December 31, 2027, offering growth opportunities within a global analytics leader and exposure to cross-functional projects in FMCG data.

Qualifications

• Degree or Associate’s degree is required.
• Analytical skills are essential.
• Time management skills are essential.
• 2+ years FMCG experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Fusion and IRIS item coding and audits data integrity.
• Codes new CPG items including descriptions, brand, manufacturer and attributes.
• Owns day-to-day maintenance of Fusion categories as assigned by team leader.
• Audits data, troubleshoots errors and corrects inconsistencies.
• Provides mentoring and training to junior team members and shares knowledge.
