Globeleq is strengthening its cyber security and networking capabilities to address growing operational demands, regulatory compliance requirements, and the evolving cyber threat landscape. The IT Graduate will provide dedicated support in both cyber security operations and network management, helping to relieve workload pressures on senior engineers while building long‑term internal capability. This role offers structured mentorship, hands‑on exposure to security and infrastructure tasks, and professional development opportunities in one of South Africa’s most critical skills areas.

Key Responsibilities

Cyber Security

• Assist with SIEM monitoring and alert triage.
• Support vulnerability scans and remediation tracking on ENCORE.
• Help implement security controls (e.g., MFA, conditional access policies).
• Participate in incident response activities.
• Contribute to user cybersecurity awareness initiatives.

Networking

• Support troubleshooting of network issues.
• Assist with firewall rule maintenance and updates.
• Monitor network performance and traffic.
• Document configurations and contribute to standardisation efforts.
• Help deploy and maintain network devices, including VPN and hybrid cloud environments.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability management, or networking concepts is advantageous.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Prior internship or project experience in IT, networking, or cyber security is desirable but not required.
