Job summary

Media24 in Cape Town seeks an experienced IT Governance Specialist / Analyst to lead and mature our Technology Governance capability. You will drive governance across technology, align with regulatory obligations, and embed practices that deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities include designing policies, maturing operating models, measuring governance effectiveness, and reporting to executives. This role is office-based in Cape Town with strong interaction with risk and audit teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Governance, Risk Management, IT or related field.
• Proven experience in IT governance and risk management.
• Experience with COBIT 2019 and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to interact with executive committees and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Technology Governance Framework.
• Design, maintain and mature governance policies, standards, procedures and operating models.
• Ensure alignment with COBIT 2019, Group Governance requirements, risk management frameworks and regulatory obligations.
• Lead governance transformation roadmap implementation.
• Develop adoption strategies and embed governance practices across business and technology functions.
• Produce executive reporting and insights on governance performance.
• Coordinate governance responses to audits and regulatory requirements.
