Job summary

Media24 in Cape Town seeks an experienced Governance Specialist/Analyst/Lead to mature our IT governance capability. You will drive governance excellence, align with COBIT 2019, regulatory obligations and risk management, and embed governance across technology and business functions.

Engagement with executive committees, leading governance transformation, developing KPIs, and reporting governance performance to senior leadership are key responsibilities. We support employment equity preferences.

Qualifications

Proven experience in IT Governance, Risk, Compliance, or Enterprise Governance.
Experience implementing governance frameworks in large/complex organisations.
Experience interacting with Executive Committees and senior leadership.
Experience leading governance transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Own and continuously improve the Technology Governance Framework.
Design, maintain and mature governance policies, standards, procedures and operating models.
Ensure alignment with COBIT 2019 and regulatory obligations.
Lead implementation of the governance transformation roadmap.
Manage governance maturity targets and improvement initiatives.
Develop adoption strategies and embed governance practices across business and technology functions.
Measure governance effectiveness and business value realisation.
Facilitate governance committees and strategic forums.
Drive awareness and education of governance responsibilities.
