Job summary

EY is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to join the Technology Risk – Assurance team in IT external audits. You will manage IT audit engagements, oversee ITGCs, and provide strategic IT risk insights while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory awareness, and collaboration with financial audit teams. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and professional IT audit certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
CISA, CISSP, or CPA with IT audit focus is highly desirable.
4–6 years IT audit experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience with ITGCs, application controls, and ERP system audits.
Familiarity with PCAOB, SOX, COBIT, NIST, ISO27001 and SOC 1 & SOC 2 reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage IT audit engagements and oversee IT general controls, application controls, and automated process controls.
Collaborate with financial audit teams to integrate IT audit procedures.
Present findings to CIOs, CFOs, and Audit Committees; mentor junior staff.
Stay updated on cybersecurity risks and regulatory changes affecting IT audit practices.
Plan engagements and ensure alignment with professional standards and risk.
Maintain client relationships and manage expectations on deliverables and timing.
