PKF Cape Town is seeking an IT Assurance Manager to lead IT audit engagements across clients, focusing on ITGCs and application controls within external financial statement audits.

The role develops the IT Assurance offering, uses data analytics, and mentors IT audit professionals. Collaboration with partners and teams is essential to deliver high-quality assurance services in line with professional standards.

Qualifications

• CA(SA), CIA, CISA or IT/audit qualification considered.
• 2–5 years IT audit/assurance experience, ITGCs and application controls focus.
• Experience leading engagements and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform IT audit engagements including ITGCs and application controls.
• Support external financial audit teams with IT-related components.
• Develop IT Assurance methodologies, templates and guidance.
• Mentor trainees and junior staff to build future IT auditors.
• Use data analytics tools to enhance audit evidence and efficiency.
• Maintain professional standards and firm methodologies.
