Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager in Limpopo to oversee daily laboratory operations, manage staff and ensure compliance with ISO 17025 quality systems. The role involves coordinating testing schedules, reporting, data integrity, and client service delivery.

Candidate must have substantial laboratory management experience, relevant NQF qualifications, and a SANAS-recognized Technical Signatory.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 qualification with 10 years management experience in a relevant laboratory environment
• NQF Level 5 qualification with 5 years management experience in a laboratory environment
• Knowledge of the construction and engineering industry
• ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Systems training
• Technical Signatory recognized by SANAS
• Valid driver’s license
• Proven experience working in an accredited testing laboratory environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and staff management
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 laboratory quality systems
• Manage testing schedules, reporting, and data integrity
• Handle client interactions, quotations, invoicing, and service delivery
• Implement risk management, corrective actions, and preventative improvements
• Supervise laboratory staff and ensure competency training
• Review, approve, and authorise laboratory test results
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, impartiality, and confidentiality requirements
