Placements24 is seeking a fluent isiZulu Language Tutor for Soweto on a part-time basis. Plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and provide feedback to help learners develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Flexible schedule supports online and in-person sessions.

Ideal candidates are patient, enthusiastic linguists with teaching or tutoring experience and a passion for sharing isiZulu culture with diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in isiZulu, with a deep understanding of its grammar and nuances.
• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring a language, preferably isiZulu.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for sharing the isiZulu language and culture.
• Ability to work effectively with learners of varying ages and backgrounds in the Soweto area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic isiZulu language lessons, adapting methods to suit learner levels and styles.
• Develop supplementary learning materials, exercises, and activities to reinforce language concepts.
• Assess student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and conversational practice.
