National Empowerment Fund (NEF) seeks a results-driven professional to source, structure and execute investment deals from origination through disbursement. You will conduct due diligence, negotiate terms, prepare investment reports and ensure governance through committees.

Responsibilities include deal structuring, risk mitigation, and driving portfolio growth while maintaining high client service levels and timely communications to applicants and stakeholders.

Competenze

• Deal making experience and ability to structure deals, financial modelling and negotiating skills.
• PC literacy with Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Understand NEF mandate and investment guidelines.
• Analytical and modelling skills applying NEF’s financial modelling methodologies.
• Able to conduct quality due diligence: accounting/auditing, law, tax; gather data; communicate with stakeholders; write well; identify risks and mitigation measures; understand investment instruments.

• Structure deals and pricing in line with criteria; capture terms on NEF template.
• Conduct due diligence per guidelines and mitigate risks.
• Negotiate terms to minimize risk per transaction.
• Review shareholders/investment agreements with legal input.
• Prepare and present investment reports to FMTPFC and committees on schedule.
• Review screening and IC papers for accuracy before submission.
• Review disbursement files for completeness prior to release.
• Collaborate with Senior Investment Associate, Fund Manager and leadership to ensure quality deals and client service.
• Ensure all documents are signed before disbursement and stakeholders align.
• Drive portfolio growth through number and value of deals; minimize impairments and maximize collections.
