Placements24 is seeking an Investment Analyst in Bloemfontein to support portfolio managers by conducting in-depth research and building valuation models. You will prepare detailed investment recommendations across asset classes in a collaborative office environment.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency with financial databases such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv Eikon, plus Excel. CFA progress is highly regarded.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related quantitative discipline is required.
• CFA designation or progress towards it is highly preferred.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with financial modeling experience.
• Familiarity with equities, fixed income, and other asset classes; proficient with Bloomberg/Refinitiv/Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct fundamental analysis of companies, industries, and economies to identify investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis of securities and portfolios.
• Prepare investment research reports and presentations for portfolio managers and investment committees.
• Monitor market developments, economic trends, and news impacting portfolios.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and execute investment strategies.
• Assist in performance attribution and risk management analysis for portfolios.
