Xrecruiter is seeking an Investment Analyst/Associate in the CPT Southern Suburbs to join private equity, infrastructure or corporate finance teams. You will participate in all stages of the investment lifecycle, reporting to the Head of Investments.

The role requires strong financial modelling, due diligence, and deal execution skills, with exposure to renewable energy opportunities and complex commercial negotiations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 4+ years post-articles experience or 6+ years relevant experience.
• Proven track record in corporate finance, PE, M&A, infra, or renewables.
• Advanced financial modelling, valuation, forecasting and analysis.
• Experience supporting deal processes, due diligence and financial closing.
• Understanding of corporate law, agreements and investment structures.
• Renewables exposure is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Originating and assessing utility-scale solar PV and renewable energy opportunities.
• Constructing robust financial models, long-term forecasts and valuations.
• Evaluating project economics, equity returns, debt capacity and risks.
• Reviewing plant performance, forecasts and operating assumptions.
• Preparing non-binding offers and complex commercial proposals.
• Leading transaction life cycle from screening to financial close.
• Managing CP fulfilment, data room and investor queries.
• Negotiating with offtakers, developers, lenders and counterparties.
• Drafting and negotiating PPAs, loan, O&M and partnership agreements.
• Conducting due diligence and credit risk assessments.
• Authoring board papers and investment committee materials.
• Contributing to long-term corporate strategy and market positioning.
